Staying at the Beechwood for business after starting back from the ongoing Covid 19 was always going to be a little nerve-racking. Really there was nothing to worry about, the owner Rez was the consummate host, polite, happy and passionate, there is hand sanitizer just inside the front door. The room I had was on the small side but it was immaculate. Every day, although I kept it tidy the room, was always attended to, towels changed regularly. The full breakfast is a must, coffee, fresh orange and breakfast cereals are available too, Rez is incredibly quick to attend to your needs. I was so impressed with the Beechwood I am returning two days after my visit for a second week.

Stayed for a couple of days, was a little anxious due to covid 19 but had absolutely nothing to worry about, rez (host) was the consummate host and couldn’t do enough to make my stay comfortable. Very reasonable rates and the room was immaculate. Very peaceful stay, no hassle at all and everything you could want is provided. Rez doesn’t bother you unless you need something but you always know he’s there if you do. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in south shields
